A Uganda with well Planned Towns and green Cities with an efficient and safe Road Transport System

To Facilitate the Improvement and Sustainability of Modern Town Planning Practices and Coherent Road Transport Development and Management in Uganda

The founding of URSSI was premised on creating strong partnerships and working closely with like minded organisations to achieve our strategic goals. Over the years we have worked closely with both local and international organisations to bring about change in accordance with our mission and vision. These include the World Bank, Department for International Development, and European Union among others.

Uganda Road Sector Support Initiative (URSSI) works to improve governance in the Ugandan transport sector, with a special focus on Road transport. Established in 2010, the pioneering NGO in transport sector has distinguished itself as an active institution introducing structured advocacy interpositions that have positively shaped government intervention in the transport sector.

URSSI promotes transparency and accountability practices in transport sector as well as support measures geared at reforming urban transformation and modern urban planning practices.
